Read Transmetropolitan. Spider is dreamy. You'll think so too, all boys I know who've read it are in love with him!

Seeing as you like Bad World this will be Warren Ellis heavy.

If you can find the Warren Ellis run on Hellstrom it's very good. Is's kind of like an 80's Vertigo sort of book but Marvel put it out. Which is odd.

Planetary. - Ellis on para-archaeology in the Wildstorm universe.

Stormwatch v1 #37 through to the end of v2 and onto the Authority. Ellis again.

Starman - Superhero antiques dealer.

Ex Machina - Superhero mayor of New York.

Fell - Warren Ellis detective stories.

Desolation Jones - Warren Ellis

Howard The Duck

Bone. Just read it. It is epic.

Transmetropolitan. NOW.

The Walking Dead - Robert Kirkman from Battle Pope does Zombies.

Invincible - Kirkman writes about a teenager learns to deal with newfound superpowers but it's not shit.

Nextwave - Warren Ellis vs. Marvel Comics.

Global Frequency - Warren Ellis vs. something different each time.

WE3 - Amazing art, written by Grant Morrison. Deadly.

Wanted - One man's journey into supervillainy in a world without superheros. Also sex, violence, swearing and pretty, pretty art.

Saga of the Swamp Thing #20

I wonder if they'll update Arseface. His backstory's a bit dated by now for the age he should be.

true

I hope they dont make a mess of it- theres so much to (potentially)offend in there it'll probably be nothing like the books by the time its made

If they keep Cassidy the alcholic Irish vampire I'm sueing for racial discrimination

any joe sacco book is well worth a read..

I like his stuff but find it a bit too "worthy"- i have to be in the m,ood

I've never finished Spiegelmans Maus for the same reason- *just lacks the "fun" element I like in comics

*strange for a comic dealing with the holocaust I know

Speaking of The Goon

heres me in Prague modelling a nice t-shirt

er i guess so but thats the subject matter... i think comics are a really unique medium that can describe and articulate ideas, perspectives...blah blah ...i feels what your saying though, i loves a good exciting read too! i do enjoy a good whizbang-flick flick now and then :)
