thats grand,i worked mine out at slightly over 3200.SAKE.
and thats before i factor in the instant coffee.

tis what i use for me coffee. the trad italian method, whack it on the stove and wait. the instructions even encourage you not to wash it, let a nice greasy film build up over time

washing them is certainly a pain in the hole. what do you do about the mould in the bottom part?

People consider it affluent that I have Gaggia in my home, but I spend less than a fiver a week on freshly ground perfectly made espresso. And no paper cup mountain.

how much would a Gaggia set one back? Also, whats the story if something goes awry with it? Do you have to get someone to come and service it?

I know the one here in work seems to be out of order every other day.
