id really love to see the immediate win this as "in towers and clouds" is one of the best irish albums ive ever heard.
it'll probably go to duke special though.
 
There's something very noncey about the Duke Special's music. Every time i listen all i can hear is "Here we are children, come and get your lollipops... ice-cream, chocolate... all freeeeeee today!".

Regan or Shroeder for me, but i imagine Regan will get it.
 
anyone got the current odds (or know where to get them)?... i'll be having a flutter on this as well if the price is right
 
My money is on Messiah J as they 'll probably try to emulate the Mercury awards and pick the least obvious winner.

I like the way the Choice Music Award is Irelands version of the Mercury Music Prize, only because they keep saying it is in the press release...

I'd like to see Si Schroder win this, and think, for the same reasons you mentioned above he could do... and also his album is amazing, obviously...

He's a really nice fella. Even if he a Curehead.
