About:



'Introduction To Synthesizers' is a compilation of tracks written by Herv between 1999 and 2002, some of which have appeared on various Irish compilations over the past few years. It is essentially an attempt to declutter hard drive space by getting some of the recordings out in the open, and alongside the lo-fi tracks (several of which were rescued from cassette), features a suitably lo-fi photocopied paper cover.

.



The albumalso features the incredible video for 'Lost Me' from last year's 'Snap Hands' album on Risc. The video, created by the Dublin based 'Polygon Farmer' team, has already been aired at Dublin's Darklight Festival and is due to be shown soon at the Galway Arts Festival. (Seriously folks, its fucking amazing: they spent 6 months making it at it completely rules. It also being hosted on Thumped at the moment.)
