If you fancy an afternoon of getting in touch with the creative side of your brain, I've got 100 blank cd covers I'm using for a compilation of independent,alternative,diy female music.

The 100 cds are going to be given out (for free) to teenage girls around dublin to expose/ encourage them towards the diy, independent, alternative music scene.

Instead of making one cd cover design and photocopying it 100 times I thought it might be 'rather nice' to have each cover individually made by any women who wanted to come along and get involved.

Its just a simple idea, but it's a way of getting creative if you dont usually make the time and it's a way to get another bit of feminist activity going on in Dublin.

If you're interested Saturday 24th February from 2pm-6pm has been booked in Seomra Spraoi. There's no cost to being involved, just if you have materials you particuarly want to use maybe bring them along.
The design can be anything you want.

Seomra Spraoi is a social centre next to Capel St on the Quays. Its number 6 Lower Ormond Quay, its got a big blue door and is next to supasnaps. You ring the top buzzer and wait for 2-3mins for someone to leg it down the stairs to let you in.
