Is anyone looking forward to this?

Didn't think I would like Daniel Craig as Bond until I saw the trailer and him emerging from the sea in his weeny swimming trunks...

Reminiscent somewhat of this iconic moment...

Go Daniel Craig's torso!!! .|..| :)

Haven't seen the trailer, but I care very little for Bond films that aren't A View to a Kill.

You have some growing up to do.

Even the Man with the Golden Gun, with Christopher Lee and his superfluous third nipple?

Oooh, it's a close call.

I just think it's nice to finally see a little 'objectifying' of the Bond himself and not just the Bond "girls".

This is all.

;)

Craig has "grit" but I dunno if they can reinvent the franchise. Everybody wants their heroes dark and moody these days, and that persona would fit Bond like a glove... but I bet it won't be long before he's zipping around in a fucking invisible car or blabbing some stupid infantile innuendo.

The Rodge was perfect for his time, ditto Sean. Brosnan had it for a couple of flicks. Craig fits the bill. It all hinges on the script.

The only bond who ever really looked capiable of killing someone was Connery. I think Craig might have it too.

I dont think it has any to do with dark and moody - Bond certainly isnt that - more ruthless.

Timo Dalton looked not only capable of killing, but the kind of killer who'd eat the dead's flesh. I actually liked him as Bond. He was kind of insane.

I think Craig will be great. There have been a couple of early reviews up around the interweb praising him to the hilt for his performance. Im sure he will bail from the series before the emergence of invisible cars and sharks with frickin laser beams.

apparently dalton was considered by some to be the closest to the literary version of Bond. Audiences were far too accustomed to the campy Moore movies to accept a more hardboiled version.

Dude from work went to see this and thought it was shite because craig was so broody. The guy's favourite film is Van Wilder Party Liason so i'm actually quite looking forward to it.
