can anyone recommend a decent chess set, not too pricey (1 Viewer)

something simple but classy, with a certain je ne sais quoi

and a drinks holder and ashtray on each side (not really)

there's an awful lot of shitty chess sets out there and i can't face trawling through em
but neither can i afford to just throw a few hundred quid at an expensive one to save me from trying to judge if it's good or not

yeah i think plain wood ones are the best, because mad ones with carved peices in the shape of wanking monkeys of varying sizes or the mothers of the cast of brookside just get confusing
