A band called "Patrol" who had a minor indie hit with a track "Helena's Star" a few years ago? They were signed to Warners for two singles in 2001 and then disappeared (how unusual is that?).

They had a song that used to get played on phantom FM a lot. It sampled some guy talking on the adrian Kennedy phone show. Try emailing them www.phantomfm.com

They're still around. They got rid of their singer i think and are still working on bits and pieces. They haven't and won't be gigging for a while though.

Heh, there's still Patrol stickers on signposts around Dublin.

Friend of mine played bass for them back around some time they played (won?) some big battle of the bands thingy.

Thought they all died years ago though.
