I've nearly always had to buy online, very limited stock every time I've looked.
Music Maker and Musician inc in Dublin sometimes have some common ones in stock, usually Sovtek, Electro harmonix or Marshall.

in ireland:
these guys do jj electronic valves, they probably sound as good as the sovteks/electro valves, they have one:
