Butthole Surfers, Vicar St, 24th July (TOMORROW!) (5 Viewers)

Could have done without the kids on stage, but other than that, it started off patchy, but then they gradually revealed why I have an allegiance to the band

Man, i don't think the kids on stage worked at all!! It was very very bizarre and cringeworthy to be honest. The Buttholes were great when it was the five of them but when the toothy rich kids came on stage..........good god.

Yea, the kids killed it for me as well. If I want to see School of Rock, I'll download the movie. I wanted to see the Butthole Surfers.

I didn't quite realise how rubbish King Coffey and Theresa Nervosa were either, although they were better than the kids.

It wasn't very loud especially considering half the time there were four or five guitars.

It was so quiet I was making a list of things that I like in my head during the gig. Thought GH started out like a bored sloth but got gradually better as the gig went on as did Butthole Surfers. The highlight was the kids junior snackbox improv freak out at the end. At least they looked like they were enjoying themselves.
