Hi,

We are going to launch our new CD, Animal, with a gig with those lovely Ballroom of Romance fellers in The Lower Deck, Portobello, Dublin, on Saturday May 31. It'll probably be our only gig in Dublin this year.

Also playing are Stoat (www.stoatmusic.com) and Merman (who are currently undergoing an identity crisis... www.myspace.com/wearenoahsshark).
Tenner in, also gets you a CD.

If you fancy a listen there's a track over there --------->
and a few on our myspace, which is here: http://www.myspace.com/boxes2piece

More details to follow about where to buy the CD, etc...

Thanks,

Mark,
Boxes.

Hi,

and Merman (who are currently undergoing an identity crisis...

There's no identity without a crisis!

My nephew will be happy.

t'will be great to see you good folk again, the song sounds wild, much loving

I can't go due to stupid adult responsibilities (but that didn't stop me seeing John McLaughlin (tonight), Spiritualized AND Bobby McFerrin (with Liam O Maonlai) this week!).

Can you "You-Tube" it to me?

Boorstin to hear the album!

Oh yeah, the album! I wonder where a put my copy of it ... I ended up having one of the funnest nights out I've had in a long time. Said to my brother "come down and see Boxes, they're amazing" and he poured scorn on me, and then was pissed off cos I was right

Hi, we finally got round to dropping a few of these into Road Records in Dublin.

Here's what they said about it:

BOXES ANIMAL
album number three from this irish based two piece featuring mark hayes on drums and gavin cowley on bass and vocals. the album is another superb slice of post punk, math rock, post rock and old style sludge rock. its full of hard hitting but also quite intricate sounds with hints of no means no, shellac, don caballero, jesus lizard, fugazi and all things amphetamine reptile related. july 2008
branchy tree cd 9.99euro
