Empty Lungs and The Assailants have teamed up to bring you a joint launch show celebrating the official release of Empty Lungs' ''Identity Lost'' single and The Assailants self titled debut EP!
EMPTY LUNGS:
Three piece formed in December 2010 (first show in May 2011) with members of Bomb City 7/Lobotomies and Snitch. Empty Lungs play passionate, angry and catchy music that draws influence from punk, post-hardcore, folk, pop-pun...k and more.
The bands explosive and energetic live shows have already gained them a reputation as a must see act and within a few months of playing shows around Ireland they have already received excellent reviews from local media and have had airplay on BBC Radio 1.
Their debut single ''Identity Lost'' was mixed by Rocky O' Reilly (Oppenheimer, And so I watch you from afar) and will be available as a 3 track digital download firstly and then on 7" vinyl later in the year. After that the lads are going to hit the road and play some shows around the UK, Europe and beyond. With 15 years touring and writing experience between them, Empty Lungs aren't going to shy away from being a hard working nose to the grindstone punk rock band.

THE ASSAILANTS:
The Assailants are a four piece Ska Punk/Hardcore band from Belfast. Starting in the Summer of 2009 they have taken their separate influences and incorporated it into their own distinct sound. With a socio-political shadow in their lyrics, they blend fast hardcore elements with slow reggae grooves.
Their adrenaline filled shows see the floor erupt with skanking and throw downs bringing a fresh sound to the Hardcore and Punk scene. The Assailants have been building a name for themselves gigging steadily around the country for the last year with bands like The Flatliners, Pocket Billiards, Axis Of, Bomb City 7 and Lantern For A Gale. This Self-Titled EP is their first release and will be available as CD and digital download.

1000 DRUNKEN NIGHTS:
Belfast Punk Stalwarts have been making noise since 2004, self-releasing a split EP and an album along the way. They play anthemic and angry punk rock with dashes of hardcore and ska. The band have been involved in the DIY music scene in Belfast for years and current members also play in Runnin' Riot and The Aggressors BC. Ex members include the handsome Chris Savage of Pocket Billiards. Hail the prophet Mohammad Riot and Darzo the ever glorious king of the punx.
