lads and ladies -
an impulse buy upgrade has left me selling the old bouzouki -
the good -
- nicely made, lovely bright tone with a bit of dept. from the same factory in romania that makes the ozark stuff
- k&K big twin pickups fitted internally - these guys are seriously superior contact/piezo type jobs (http://www.kksound.com/reviews/reviews.php) - to the extent that Ive had more than one sound engineer ask me where I got them. output equivalent to a medium out put single coil (its seems to me anyway).
-finishing/fit isnt world class but a very playable piece.
-strap locks
-will include a danelectro 7-band eq/boost mini pedal - great little yoke, and works well with the instrument.
the bad -
-fair few chips and bruises - Im the original owner, and took care of it, but twas badly shop soiled when I bought it.
150ono for the job lot - will have pics up over the w/end as I want to give it a bit of a clean first.
