yup

it's a sony dav-s300 that i got chipped & shipped over from the uk a couple of years ago. it's nice.

If you're looking for a really cheap DVD player head on over to Richer Sounds. Cheapest DVD player in ireland for €99. oh, and they're offer to make it multiregional for an extra €10 is bullshit, as it can be done via remote control. You can find that hack pretty easy on the net.

get yer socks off...

anybody know of any good programs that will convert socks to http? socks2http doesn't work for me and HTTP-Tunnel (free version) gives me about 2KB a second.

i'm tired.goodnight.

i guess i'll not be leaving the house much over the next week or two

I wish I'd decided to go to New Zealand a little earlier than I have. Maybe I could have got a part as an extra in Lord of the Rings...what with my heroic warrior-like physique an' all.... !bog

Although it would ruin the whole thing for everyone..imagine seeing someone you know in a battle scene in lord of the rings....there goes fantasy out the window.

Em.... you're in London this weekend. I'm in London this weekend....

I have a mate who has a gaff and probably has a vidjo player.... he's up in Camden as far as I know, so how about then... I have the second series as well...

i got my girlfriend that DVD player last christmas. it's not the prettiest machine, but the picture and sound quality is fine, definitely a bargain at €99.

also, the multi region 'chipping' that richer sounds offer on it is just a code tapped into the remote.
