What you could do is stay in your job with the cash that goes with it and find yourself a new job, and quit without giving them any notice

Could you handle a cut in pay Billy? See if they'll let you go on a short week - I'm on a 20 hour week now (since August 1st) and it's deadly ... big reduction in how much the job grinds you down, and so far I'm doing (reasonably) ok on the money (having a wife who's doing well with her own business at the moment helps though). The pay per hour is pretty good for a part time job - I'd probably have to work a full week in a shit job to get the same money as I get for a half week here
