email correspondence today included:

Can you please take [xxx] down from your server - you are in breach of copyright and you should at least have requested permission to put [xxx] up on your server. This is absolutely not ok, if you want to demonstrate this work, it will have to be locally.

Regards,

[xxx]

i've never been in breach of copyright for something i made before. sigh.

they're probably reading this board too, so now i'll really be in trouble.

If it was from microsoft, and you made whatever it was using a microsoft product then they'll probably insist that it's thier property.
Most people don't know what they sign up to when they agree to use micro soft products.
I found this out courtesy of my professional nerd of an older brother

It's Everett True ( ex. MM ) and Steve Gullick ( ditto ). Their mission is to destroy the NME. All good things. I believe you can pick it up in Freebird, maybe other places now, too.

so, here i am, listening to "lovely day" by bill withers on th'ould headphones.

and i've just noticed that the backing vocals going "lovely day, lovely day" sometimes sound eerily like they're saying "dermody, dermody".

this means something.

i'm sure.

you better believe it is. it's symtomatic of our collective 'fear of the chorus' or kershawphobia as it is known.

It means The Dermody is lovely.
Simple as that.

"Then I look at you,
and the worlds alright with me,
aaaaah just one look at you,
and I know you've got to be
A Dermody"
