Google's not helping me here.

I keep getting virus emails and the message source is always from the same ip, is there any way i can just block the ip. However, my email address is webmail based and i download the mails through thunderbird so maybe blocking the ip at my end won't really help...

any thoughts?

I use MailWasher. Bounces mails from your POP3 / IMAP mailbox before you download them locally. Takes a while to train it up with whitelisted addresses, but i'd be lost without it now. You can add in filters, so you could set it to automatically delete any mail coming from the IP in question.
