Has anyone ever seen an owl flying up close?
It's madness. They make no sound. The actually seem to absorb the sound around them.
When they fly past you, it's like they dont really exist, because as far as your brain is concerned, nothing moves that silently, but you can see something, so your brain reels around a bit, and then realises its something is broken. Brain, you are on notice.


Madness altogether.

I had a bit of reflux burn alright but that owl-on-owl action was kind of tame in comparison to the video footage I saw of a live cow being dumped into a compond of lions at a Chinese zoo. Poor fucker.

Which reminds me. I saw a pigeon with a broken wing being pecked to death by a magpie last week.

Jesus, nature is so heart crushingly cruel.
