Beth Ditto - shut up (1 Viewer)

Anyone see the Gossip at Glasto on the telebox last night? Pretty good stuff..her voice sounded deadly and they put lots of energy in to it. Was pretty funny though when she hopped the barrier to crowd surf and fell straight to the feet of the poor peeps that were supposed to carry her over. .|..|

hahahaha
deadly
:D
- leigh

btw - good luck tonight donna, once again working late so i can't make it

beth ditto speaks more sense in one burp than most of you on this ere thread.

beth ditto's loud mouth and her fat arse and hairy armpits rule my non deodorised, non corporate, non commercialised, queer ideal world.

My thoughts on this thread; The Gossip are a pretty decent band, great fun live
Beth Ditto has a good voice

omg, lies!
they're not your thoughts on this thread they're your thoughts on the Gossip!

they played on the floor in the menagerie (small, dank, bohemian belfast bar previously run by the IRA) at a HOWL gig in 2003 and she got her baps out and danced with everyone, she only stopped dancing in the time between the guitarist putting his guitar away and the dj putting a record on, that makes anyone sound as fuck in my book.

anyway they were really nice guys and that was around the time 'movement' came out which is a fucking savage record, 'standing in the way of control' is an instant classic, i'm glad that she's putting out the good word, even if they did sell out, at least she's honest about it, i don't read the papers enough to feel annoyed, especially not the nme which as everyone knows has been utter shite since 1995 anyway.

Yeah, the ' beth ditto's ideal world rocks' one or the 'thumped and this thread is for pricks' one?

i was at this gig and it was deadly..i'd seen them a few weeks before in americay and made the trip up to see them and it was so worth it!!

on the basis of that glastonbury coverage shes a great performer and a deadly singer. im guessing that sooner or later shell sell out and lose her dead weight band mates though. they dont seem to have much charisma at all.

i think their drummer is hot..when i saw them in tbmc, it left me very confused..

the glastonbury coverage of them showed what i think their problem is. titanic voiced beth backed up my watery idealess music. BORING. i can hear the dance remixes already.
