Hey xsteox if you're who I think you are, I got a DVD called Muckspreader and you're at the front of a Mastodon gig in London when they play Emerald bangin' head. The gig was probably 2 or 3 years ago.

Best gigs - Clutch, High On Fire and OM.
Best albums - Clutch, High On Fire and Bolt Thrower.
Best new local bands - De Novissimis and Wreck Of The Hesperus.
Best local band - Scald.

Best film i seen: some wan obout these brazilian guys banged up in prision,actually looked like good craic till they were all killed/sin city. havnt seen the suicide girls dvd yet but im sure its worth a premature mention

no surprise there then awards: Athlone town rooted to the arse of division 1 and having to apply for readmission. Roscommon doin fuck all in the connaught championship except the odd bit of naked pool. Johns street becoming more like fuckin compton every day!!!!!(little knackers not the blacks!!!!)

Best old band discovered this year: Mayhem

Biggest loss of the year: Killing Spree

Bet Venue: Paddys Hall in the Greystones

Impression of Irish "Punk" this year: Its had its ups and downs. I think at the minute not too many people are showing up for touring bands so promoters are not putting as many gigs on as they would usually. But I find constantly that there are lots of great bands coming out of Ireland and hopefully things will get even better!

Things to look forward to in 2006: My 18th, going to more gigs, hopefullly playing more music myself and maybe I'll put on the odd gig

probably me alright. that was in camden underworld on their tour with high on fire. art of burning water and blood island raiders support. good times.|..|.|..|
