I'll be staying the night in Belfast next Thursday.

Would anyone know where a couple of Dublin blokes looking for a friendly crowd, decent tunes and loose/desperate women should be thinking of heading?

Oh, and what would anyone familiar with Belfast reckon is the best deal - A hotel on University Street for £29 a night or a place on the Springfield Road for £18? Would we have to get taxis out to the Springfield Road or could you walk it?

Thanks a lot.

You wouldn't really want to stay on the springfield rd, its not a great area-and not really in walking distance (but you might get the loose women you want there!) University avenue is near all the pubs in belfast-bout a 10minute walk from the limelight or auntie aunnies-both are indie/rock pubs/clubs :D

Right, thanks.

I'm leaning towards shelling out for the place on University Street. I reckon I'll do the tourist thing and have a few pints and a bite to eat in The Crown, take one of those morbid black cab tours and then end the night getting laughed at by the local women in Auntie Annie's.
