Have been listening to this dude's LP (Len Parrot's Memorial Lift) on repeat for last week or so. Really nice, music to hibernate to.

He released it a few years ago but has done feck all since, as far as I can see.

Anybody know where he's at?

Yeah, sort of. He called it Oscar Brown and threw in parts of the Velvets track, mainly the Sweet Nothin chorus. Very nice it is too.

just heard Francescas Party from this fellas second record (from 2006 I think), astonishing stuff, great spaceman drone pop thing going... seems to be very little out there about him, but this is aces...

Yeah he's great. Thats from the album Floor Show, which I never got around to buying, cause the cover features a naked lady and I was always too embarrassed to bring it to the counter (there always seemed to be female staff working when I thought of buying it). Its ridiculous really, like what age am I for God's sake?!

Seemingly, the 1st time he sang in public was at his Dad's funeral...

And

The Blockheads are his live band when he can get together to play live...
Worth catching him live for that alone!
