Bargains someone should buy. (2 Viewers)

This might be a bit off-topic but Maplins are selling sets of three flight cases for 40 euros at the moment. They are small and not that heavy/sturdy but would be pretty cool for storing/transporting pedals, miscellaneous bits etc. Each one of the set is a different size with the biggest probably about 2 feet by 1 foot (or maybe smaller .. I'm crap at estimating this).

Thinking of buying a set for storing camera gear. They have some sort of insert yokes and all ...

That's not a US Tele,
Its not even a real fender
(Mexican,jap or otherwise)

I think that's what Ann Post was trying to get at by tagging me there. Everything about that guitar is wrong and fake. Headstock, neck, bridge, f-hole, binding on body, decal, pick guard, colour, serial number and string trees are the most obvious parts other than the fact that Fender have never made a guitar that looks like that. That said it does say "Made in USA" on it. Presumably it was bought on ebay and it's made in China so it might possibly be worth 300 euro if it's well made and plays well.

i actually dropped in and had a jam on it yesterday and bumped into a really competent guitarist i know. didnt plug it in at all but we came to the conclusion after a few minutes handling that it had a real chop shop feel to it, you can see where the scratchplate meets the bridge in the pic, theres a lot of play in the fit. that is still the asking price but i wouldnt pay it. the tanglewood would be a better bet, me mate who plays acoustic blues stuff was getting awfully tempted by it. ended up buying an FAB delay meself. it works and all but has a slightly bassy colour to it.
