Alright...
The Ballroom of Romance will be on next Friday (that's the 11th October) in the Lower Deck. It's behind Portobello College, just up from the Bleeding Horse pub.

This gig will feature:

Estel

Jimmy Behan

Herv

An Hermetic Collective

Usual deal....

€5 in at the door.... 80 free cds featuring tracks from the band (including a live Estel song!)....

Hope you'll all make it!

Up you go....

Herv's and Jimmy Behan's tracks sound excellent by the way.

On this Friday....

I'm not sure if this gig would be your cup of tea. However, I'm not one to account for other people's tastes.

You're more than welcome to come along. It's a lovely venue....

Fair play to Billy and his big romantic balls, I'll be along to this in search of more ballroom.

I hope someone sings "Big Balls" by accadacca

"My balls are held for charity, and some for fancy dress
But when they're held for pleasure, they're the balls that I like best
My balls are always bouncing to the left and to the right
It's my belief that my big balls should should be held every night"

well what kinda music is it Billy???

Okay... now I might not define it the way the bands see it as... but I'll do my best....

Estel would be minimalist rock.... sort of a Kraftwerk-type thingy going on as well....

Jimmy Behan is very crisp electronica... quite ambient.... he's really good live.

Herv is also something of a treat when playing live. He brings along a game-boy and his pc and does all sorts of electronic stuff.

An Hermetic Collective I've never heard. Apparently they are an instrumental band.... sort of a Aerial M/Papa M type thing going on.....

Snakybus, i can give some encouragement...........what motivates you???

And sounds really good billy, diferent shapes of music.sounds good, might come along if hectors not there............

im going to see 5.1 (formerly known as GLUE BOY in a way....) on thursday, should be good.......cept its in the voodoo lounge which is shit........

I know "Hector" plays with Herv... not sure if he will on Friday though....

But he's really a lamb....
