Yeah i know the legal notice period is one wage period but in my contract it states that i have to give 2 months.
I've gone through it with a fine tooth comb looking for a way out of it but there doesnt seem to be one tho.
That doesnt seem right does it?

if its in the contract its in the contract.

not sure employee law can get you out of that. If you leave early you're in breach.

I think theres something in that getting fired thing. What would you have to lose? Are they withholding a reference until your notice period expires?
