so im going to australia for a year just wondering if anybody knows anything about the punk and activism scene down under

Everyone's got a great sense of humour and doesn't tell you what to do all the time like in Scandinavia, there's plenty of sound punks who can have a laugh and are also very aware of various issues & politically conscious, and the weather is gooorgeous. Melbourne is best.

there is a board quite like eirecore as well but i cant remember its name...try some google searches on aussie punk and hardcore or something.

The music scene in Melbourne is the best for grind...elsewhere its pretty quiet..
the punk/crust scene is pretty quiet...great bands like Pisschrist, Schifosi, ABC Weapons draw in a few crusties but they dont play that often...
