We are delighted to share with you that The Urges new single “Passing Us By” from their forthcoming second album “Time Will Tell” has been announced as an official release for Record Store day on Sat April 18th.
The Urges will play a headline show on Friday April 17th in the Grand Social venue Dublin to showcase tracks from the forthcoming album & launch the single “Passing Us By”. Support on the night comes from our friends September Girls & Beatfink
As the first release from their forthcoming long player, “Passing Us By” renders a vivid impression of The Urges present sound. From the 60s sounds of the Pretty Things, Scott Walker and Love , to the baroque neo-psychedelia of the Coral and the bees…….and any and all of the good gear in-between….The Urges absorbed and incorporated their influences and arrived at a sound that is distinctly their own -------- all swirly, psychedelic rock n’ roll with soaring harmonies, strings and brass. So let their sound fill your head
