Yeah "enjoyed" it a lot. West is excellent, consistantly creepy enough to make my sister, who has watched far too much torture porn rubbish like Saw or Hostel, genuinely unsettled. Emily Watson has the "stronger then you first think, meek slight lady" act down to a tee. There's a decent family sub plot and the tone is pitch perfect. Definitely worth watching if the first episode is anything to go by.

damn - that was good. West was amazing as I expected, he captured the creepy naivety perfectly - so was Emily Watson.
Can't wait for Sunday. I hope he doesn't get away with it...

I saw the above pic in the paper a few weeks ago and thought he looked incredibly attractive. Now I'm afraid to watch it in case I fancy Fred West.

Great Drama - an interesting take on the story. Rosemary West was scary as fuck..

The character was definitely played with room for a little sympathy - also they really didn't goto into the horrific details of his crimes which would have made him out to be more of a monster.

Agreed. Overall very good. And yes, whoever they got to play Rosemary was terrific casting.
