Anyone a subscriber to The Wire? (1 Viewer)

Buy it most months, now considering taking out a subscription as it's not that easy to get down here.

Are those subscriber-only CDs good? Any particularly outstanding ones as I'll probably be ordering some back issues too.

Yup. All the Domino cds are great (Belgian festival-not the label) and the Raster Noton one was pretty cool as well.
I really liked the ~Scape sampler too but I'm a sucker for microdub like Pole, Deadbeat and Crackhaus et al.
They're all interesting cds anyway...the last one I got was on the Portuguese Improv scene fr'instance.

Get the Exploatory music from portugal CD from a few years back. It's fantastic.
When I had a subscription the issues would arrive about a week after it hit the shops. Weak.

Regular envelopes thankfully. I was always nervous that cum-stained laggard of a postman might steal issues so he could jerk off to a Morton Feldman interview.

My subscription arrives before it hits the shops I think but I do live in Dublin city centre too.
