How does this work then?

I use it daily to pin cool images that I might later use for drawing reference or just because I like them.

A board I created a few days ago has seen a massive rise in 'Followers'. Why would this happen? How does it work? Is it like Reddit where stuff gets pushed to a front page?

I didn't realise I was using that username. Enjoy my pretty pictures

Just checked again--every time I have a look another few people have started following my board. I don't know why.

No. It's only the 'my comics' board. It seems there's some sort of bug or something that is adding followers ..it doesn't make sense

my guess is you're showing up in their example boards to follow for people who aren't following many others yet or something

Must be. A lot of them have no boards or pins. Now, how do I use this to my advantage ?

Over 900 followers now. Let's see if it gets to 1000 by the end of the day

I'd be flattered but no one is responding to anything on that board. They're probably just annoyed that pinterest forced them to follow it. I would be
