Where/when were these on? What were the music policies?

both McGonagles, 1990 - 1993 approx
Panic - Thursdays,
Sonic Boom - Saturdays

pretty similar, all the indie hits of the day. No real metal tracks. Friday club I think took care of that but I used frequent Fibber's on a Friday.

great vibe despite the lack of a proper alcohol licence.
Wine or Ritz.

Well is there? Something along the lines of that Pop Factory yokey would be nice.

Looking back over my shoulder
i can see the look in your eye
i never dreamed that it coud be over
i never wanted to say goodbye

looking back over my shoulder
with an aching deep in my heart
i wish that we were starting over
oh instead of drifting so far apart

Everybody told me you were leaving
funny I should be the last to know

Baby please tell me that i'm dreaming
I just never want to let you go

whelans is passable except that it is a world where it is forever 1992. You're twisting my melon man etc. (more fun at http://www.blackshapes.com)

It'd be great to have a proper indie club, like How Does it feel to be loved in London - Sarah Records bands, Belle and Sebastian, Northern Soul you get the jist. Whelans is alright but you get sick of hearing the same songs.
