I haven't got a chance to see 'the passenger' yet. It's on 'til Thursday though. I am looking forward to it. I fuckin' love this period of Nicholson. Has anyone seen his directional debut from the early 70s? It seems impossible to get on any format.

Also, last December I bloody well bought a ticket for 'Blow Up' and ended up not going. Smae. Still haven't seen it. I saw 'L 'Eclipse' when it was on though. Impressed. Alienating stuff though. I suppose that's the intention...
 
I think.
I preferred this. More alienation. More vagueness. Fewer mimes.
That long shot at the end. The car going round in a circle, I wonder if it meant anything.
Also, Volver opens this Friday in the IFI, it looks like
 
Amazing.

I loved the slow pace, which seemed to make every movement and gesture significant. That long shot was fricken spectacular. The lack of score worked really well too. Intense silences + actual location sounds = :heart:
