goto "tools > options > advanced" and tick "disable script debugging"
think that should do it

my guess would be you're not running the latest version of IE and there's some content on the page you're viewing that IE can't display. or the page you're viewing has some incorrect code in it.

Alex: That error could mean that anything associated with internet explorer is giving problems; plug-ins, even a seperate program altogether.
The first thing to do is to simply restart your machine and its quite possible the problem will just go away

turn off your google toolbar (or similar) popup blocker. it bollockses up* loads of non-popup related script stuff

It's most likely errors on the pages you're viewing - a surprising amount of webpages have javascript errors on them (oceanfree was a terror for it when I used to use it). Disabling script debugging should stop you seeing the messages
