you need to use the extended ascii code for those letters. I discovered this whist trying to write Mötorhead , Motley Crüe etc... and not because I'm a geek, roight!

simply hold down the ALT key and type the ascii code using the number panel on the right of the keyboard (having 'num lock') enabled, of course)

eg. ö = alt + 148
ú = alt + 163

happy umlating!

you can just hold the Alt Gr key and the appropriate vowel
