There are some class bands like Mogwai, Tortoise, Shellac, Isis, Sonic Youth, Trans Am, Deerhoof, Part Chimp, Erase Errata...

but there are some shite ones like The Tindersticks... *groan*

jeah - second weekend - i know jamie f. and willy are going too in a diff group
should be completley sick - fuck those "class bands" (sorry boss, i like most of em too) - fuckin lightning bolt and wolf eyes are playin! it's gonna be ferocious.
i went a few years ago with damo and some others and it was a real good buzz.
first weekend is sold out now though - second is way better though

n-n-n-nope. south coast of england. place called Camber Sands near rye. it's on a beach and they have miniature golf...or craaazy golf.

Tindersticks at the olympia with an orchestra would rate in my top 20 gigs off all time. it was something special. my girlfriend is mad into them and we went for her birthday. i loved it even though i hardly ever listen to them at home. funny thing was tattoo the planet was on in the point the same night.

must have a chat to alberto and ivan about this.

a staggering 3 people are coming from limerick for converge as far as i know!!!

myself and liam ryan are driving up in about 2 hrs.
rimbaud is also possibly up there already. well he told me he was going anyway.

there maybe more but i havent heard.

albert wanted to go but has to do his brett guerwitz (wrong spelling i'm sure) impressions down at gamak and rest in cork tonight what with him being head honcho at out on a limb records!!!

tell him not to forget you when it all kicks off. seriously...his roster of bands?
gamak, rest, waiting room and 10past7. fuckin hell. thats some good fuckin bands.
