Acoustic guitar pickup advice (1 Viewer)

Is there a better sound from soundhole,bridge or undersaddle pickups?Are the undersaddle ones easy enough to install,without having to do much drilling etc?Id rather not go cutting any holes in my guitar,or go having to get someone to install it.
Iv heard good things about the fishmann undersaddle pickups.

Iv also heard good things about the Barcus Berry pickups,Heres one in action and expertly installed,

but any Iv been able to find seem to retail at less than $90

Went for that one.So yeah, if anyone is looking for a pickup for an acoustic,Id totally recommend it.

Got it installed by a guy called Frank Tate on North Great Georges St.
No only did he do a damn fine job installing it,he cleaned the fretboard,put in a battery,changed the strings,and gave it back to me in the same tuning I dropped it in in.Nice touch.

Are the Di Marzo (sp?) pick ups easy to install? Do they sound shit? Cos they just look like a piece of tinfoil on the internets.

Hmm not sure about those,mine resembles a thin tin foil strip too.It was easy enough to install, in theory:

ive got a cheapo nylon string that has 4 strings that i want to play gigs with..its kinda cheap sounding already so would it be the worst idea to get something like that?

If it sounds cheap already and you arent to pushed about clarity,Id say that would do fine,I was using one of these

No real point installing an expensive pickup in a cheap guitar!

something like this sounds ideal as it says it has low impedance, and i could be fucking around with distortion here and there.
