DEAF & The Model Gallery, Sligo, present New Spaces for Music
TONIGHT - Babybeef @7pm this evening!
Venue: Old Boys school, next to Smock Alley Theatre, Exchange St Lower, Temple Bar - entrance located on Lower Exchange Street/on the quays (off Parliament Street, take right at the Czech Inn & round the corner, entrance on ur left!
The magical mystery music tour that is ‘New Spaces’ at DEAF will see a series of 7 gigs happen in unusual spaces around Dublin where live music isn’t normally encountered. And tonight its Dublin’s electro lolli-pop queen, Babybeef bringing her first solo show to this obscure city centre location...some say resembles a gladiator pit! We will be treated to 40 minutes of spanking new ensembles from her upcoming album and bespoke visuals from Dublin filmmaker & animator Fergal Brennan.
The way we consume music can become rigid and predictable so keep an eye on facebook and twitter if you’re ready for an out of space adventure.
TOMORROW we can confirm Somadrone will be playing at 3.30pm in Dublin City Hall, the stunning building on Dame Street, beside Dublin Castle. Again Somadrone will perform for approx 40mins.
