Yup, a memory stick is a memory stick. Its flash memory so its not formatted to any type. Well, even if it is I assume when you plug it into the Mac you'll be able to format it to a mac file system

well, i need it to transfer stuff between mac and pc so needs to be compatible with both without reformatting.
last one i had was fine for that, i dont think all of them are though.
