    I nearly skip most of the songs as they get so annoying. Which totally defeats the point of even watching.

    But that's the thing. It's just as bad as any other teen drama and the plot is terribly predictable but the writing of some of the characters make it a lot better than the likes of Gossip Girl or One Tree Hill..

    Gossip Girl - Season 2. After a great first season I dropped it fast after the awful first two episodes of season 2 but I caved the other day and grabbed the whole season. There is quite a load of pretty rubbish stuff going on here but I just can't stop watching..

    Anyone else watching Being Human on BBC 3? Pretty good so far though I hope they keep the series going longer than the usual 6 episodes the BBC do, they're shaping up a story line that could run for a full US series which would actually be 4 UK series.

    Not every TV show needs to have a groundbreaking way of storytelling, sometime generic forumulas just work. The X Files had the same kind of thing going for about 5 seasons until the lame final few seasons.

    All of those are compeltly amazing series. If you want to stick with David Simon go for The Corner, Homicide: Life On The Streets (not directed by him but he wrote it and it's based off his book) or Generation Kill.
