A very rare shot of Rory and Thin Lizzy playing together at the Sartory-Saaal in Cologne, Germany on this day in 1979. Rory joined the band onstage for their encore and played the legendary ’Greeny’ Gibson Les Paul, once owned by Peter Green, then by Gary Moore and now by Kirk Hammett . Photo L to R: Gary Moore, Rory, Phil Lynott, Scott Gorham. The photo was found in a German fanzine called ‘Musikszene’.
