I thought this really ran out of steam after a very promising start and became a generic courtroom/prison drama. True Detective season 2 was better.

I really liked it. Tried to be a bit too much in too short a time maybe alright though. finale was jam packed full of stuff that lead to a pretty abrupt conclusion to the thing, but enjoyed it nonetheless. I presume this is it with regards to this particular story?

This a US remake of a BBC series called Criminal Justice. I like both versions, the US is a bit slicker, but UK does a few bits better.
