Dedicated Glen Hansard Oscar Thread. (1 Viewer)

Hansard is gonna be even more insufferable now. Good job I watch very little Irish telly, listen to even less radio and stopped buying irish newspapers yonks ago. Still, fair play to him.

Shit song, shit film.

here's another oscar winning ginger:

I was watching it live and I felt quite teary when they won. And I am not a Hansard fan. I thought their speech was nice and that bringing Marketa back out to allow her to say her piece was lovely. So well done..

Oh and I think I'm in love with Jon Stewart..To the I've got the horn thread so...

First, Liverpool's 2005-06 Champions League qualification and now this....it's another slap in the face for those who believe in the rule of law.

At least Dwain Chambers served his time.

I'm with Mitchum on this.

I genuinely don't see why this is a good thing....

was absolutely delighted for them. watched the whole night and they got by far the best response, people were going nuts for them.
also, has that *ever* happened before, a winner being brought back out to finish a speech?? wonder if jon stewart insisted on it or what.

imagine what the bleedin' performance royalties from that will be!

Jesus I think it's amazing that his lad goes from Thumped enemy no. 1 to a hero because he wins some gong from Hollywood.

Normal service will resume shortly I'm sure. Let them have their day like.

Anyway, he was never Thumped enemy no. 1. It's just that the people who hate him shout louder than the people who don't mind him/aren't at all bothered.

jesus,I like cathy davey and the frames...
I'm starting to think i'm in the wrong fucking forum...

....I do own a copy of spiderland tho!
does that get me back in?
