5 weeks? I thought you had perma-beard. My current beard is about 2 years old now, but I keep it very short. It seems to get noticeably grayer by the day.

I presume you'd need an electric thing of some sort to get that perma-stubble look?

5 weeks of growing it out. i'd usually use a hair trimmer on it.

How are people getting on with their beards? At about the two month mark both my hair and beard got a bit unruly, so I went for my first professional beard trim. I was worried it looked a bit Captain Riker afterwards but it's a much better shape now and it's growing out in a way that doesn't make me look like a yeti.

Mine's still controlable, can't have long left though. I usually shave my whole head bald every few months but this time I'm considering just having a trim so as to maintain the hairiness. Could be a long cold winter.
