I think fair dinkum is more like 'nice one' or 'proper order' - I'm no expert though

Fair go is like an ethos. That everyone in the country deserve an equal and proper shot at success. That they all live in a classless society.

Like Liberte, Egalite and Fraternite, I suppose. But less poncey.

It's just an Aussie way of saying equal treatment, but it's been popularised as a national trait because they use their own slang to represent a customary norm. We have as much a 'fair go' in Ireland (or not) as Australia.
