World Vegetarian Day will be marked in Ireland on October 6th with the 13th Annual Vegetarian Day Fair at Cultivate, Temple Bar. World Vegetarian Day will be marked in Ireland with the 13th Annual Vegetarian Day Fair at Cultivate, Temple Bar.

Vegetarians the world over will be celebrating World Vegetarian Day on Monday, October 1st.  The Vegetarian Society of Ireland will celebrate this annual event with their 13th World Vegetarian Day fair, at Cultivate, Temple Bar, Dublin, on October 6th. Visitors will be treated to a wide variety of delicious and healthy food served by some of the top vegetarian restaurants in Ireland. There will be cookery demonstrations on how to quickly make tasty and tempting meals.

A diverse range of stalls will give visitors information on issues such as eating a nutritious and healthy vegetarian diet and the serious issues caused by farming animals for food.

Also planned are informative talks throughout the day on issues such as healthy eating, animal rights and how adopting vegetarian diet helps protect our environment and planet.

The World Vegetarian Day fair, organised by the Vegetarian Society of Ireland, takes place on Saturday, October 6th, from 11am – 5pm at Cultivate,
15 – 19 Essex St West, Temple Bar, Dublin.
