yup, every few years depending on usage, otherwise yr records will spin at ≤33 or ≤45 rpm.

i have a NAD which is similar to the rega/project audio set-up i.e. manual change, and it's been good for 16 years. IR£200 back when.

Deadly record player though. Clooney Audio in Blackrock sell them but you may get it cheaper online. It's the one thing I would be
worried about being thrown around in transit though.
