Still much more in favour of the themed originals. It could be as simple "one chord song" or something. No minimum length, wouldn't even have to be musical, just audio.
Anyway whatever form it takes I think the songs should be gathered by one person and all "released" together.

a) I fool myself into thinking I'll have some kind of 'time' after college for this kind of thing. Making quite the assumption with talent right there
