Villagers – Earthly Pleasure

Villagers’ latest video, “Earthly Pleasure,” gets a very literal adaptation featuring someone on a toilet brushing their teeth, and a battle set in 1822. It’s more imaginative than the standard four guys against a white background, I mean it, when’s the last time you saw someone hanging out in a loincloth crooning to a blind soothsayer in a bath? The track comes from Conor O’Brien and the gang’s second album, {Awayland}, out now on Domino Records. “Earthly Pleasure” will be available digitally on 26th August 2013. iTunes Standard – iTunes Deluxe – Domino Mart – A Smith & Werber Production Earthly Pleasure Credits A Smith & Werber Production Directed by: Tom Werber Produced by: Stephen Smith DOP: Matthew Beecroft Art Director: Aurelie Taillefer Cast Man: Jean Baptiste Fillon Goddess: Shereen Russell Post Edited by: Smith & Werber VFX by: Smith & Weber Additional Compositing and CGI: Ernest Dios & Pau Viladot Colourist: Jean Paul Vial at Clear Cut Pictures Unit 1st AC: Thomas Nicholson 2nd AC/Trainee: Ivor Churchill Gaffer: Neil Hawkins Key Grip: Aaron Porter Costume: Aurelie Taillefer Stylists: Tzarkusi Make Up: Annie Tagge DIT: Mark Yeshin VFX Consultant: Naveed Aftab Catering: Barbara’s Brazilian Kitchen Camera: Movietech Lighting: Filmplus Studio: Soundstage Studios Space images used courtesy of NASA.
