The debut LP from Squarehead ‘Yeah Nothing‘ is available now digitally & gets a physical release on September 16th.

2011 will see the band release their anticipated debut album, consisting of 11 fuzzy no-nonsense indie-pop songs. It was recorded with Shane Cullen in K9 studios in Deansgrange, South Co. Dublin over two four day sessions in September and December of 2010.
A mix of surf-pop harmonies, old school rock ‘n’ roll rhythms and guitar jangles, Squarehead draw inspiration from the melodies of The Beach Boys and Portland’s The Wipers. The album, results in a modern take on classic pop where lyrics about girls and good-time sentiments combine with singalong hooks to produce something fresh and exuberant away from classic pop pastiche.
There’s a launch gig on September 17th in The Workman’s Club with Logikparty.
