UPDATE: You can now stream the whole LP over at Stereogum ahead it’s release, and it’s a doozy on first listen.

Pinback’s Rob Crow had a much publicised withdrawal from music a while back, citing the constant humiliation and financial responsibility of trying to be a professional rocker in this day and age. For someone as notoriously prolific as Crow who reckons he has at least 12 LPs of unreleased music sitting on a variety of hard drives, it was sad news for fans.

Thankfully, the withdrawal turned out to be a hiatus, and he’s returning with a brand new project, Rob Crow’s Gloomy Place, with an LP “You’re doomed. Be Nice.” out on March 4th via Temporary Residence records.

2 tunes have been previewed, 1st single ‘Business Interupptus’ and now the superb math popper “Oh, the sadmakers” that has us here at Thumped Towers stupidly excited.

No European or Irish dates yet sadly, but we shall dream on….
